Rooted in Trauma-Informed best practices, this unique group combines mindfulness, trauma therapy, movement and skill building to treat PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. Hosted outdoors, you will learn the foundations of ice climbing and how to keep yourself safe - essentially, how to find and use your voice with confidence.
Through movement, mindfulness and mastery of skills, you'll build a better relationship with your body, your fellow climbers, and nature herself. Trauma, depression and anxiety live deep inside our bodies. They aren't things we can talk our way out of. What we need is the skills and space to feel and process. Out under the beautiful Colorado blue sky you will get that space. We visit each ice climbing location twice, so you can see how your skills, state of mind and body influence your climbing and relationships. Plus, the friendships you'll make in this group will blow your mind.
Join us for a mind and body opening experience that will help move you into the next level of health and healing.
